Pet Policy


At Adventure Dog Co., we do our best to limit the potential exposure and risk for both dogs and people. By limiting the dogs on the trip to dogs from a single-family, we are ensuring that dogs from different households experience limited exposure to unknown dogs and people. Bringing your dog on a trip is based on first-come-first serve availability. If there are no interested parties to bring their own dog, Adventure Dog Co. has the full right, and I acknowledge that I am aware, that our owned dog will be accompanying our group on this trip.
OTHER DOGS - Hold Harmless

I understand that by participating in this activity that I will be exposed to dogs that I am not familiar with and will under all circumstances treat the animal with respect, and in the same capacity as a working or service dog. If under any and all circumstances I am bit, harmed, or threatened by a dog while participating in this event, I hold the dog and owner(s) of the dog completely harmless and will take full responsibility (cost, accountability) for my actions that may/could/did provoke the animal.
I understand certain “activities” that my dog may participate in, including walks, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, camping, movement within and outside any trail, park, or campground, and transportation to and from Toller Tour, LLC activities involve risk and possible injury, and potential death, disease, or sickness, not limited to:
- Exposure to parasites, viruses, wild animals, strangers, equipment, and other medical conditions passed from dog-to-dog, person-to-dog, dog-to-person, wild animal-to-dog, dog-to-wild animal; sprains, strains, bites, broken bones;
- Motor vehicle accident during transportation, and
- Fatigue, dehydration, nicks, cuts, or death.
I further understand that not each and every potential risk can be listed above but, nonetheless agree that the benefits associated with dog activities outweigh the possible risk, therefore, I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Toller Tours and its agents, successors, heirs, own pets, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions or rights of action, which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with my dog’s participation in activities with Adventure Dog Co., including those allegedly attributable to the negligent acts or omissions of Toller Tours or their staff.
If my dog is ill or injured, is killed, or dies while participating in activities at or with Toller Tours, I consent to seek appropriate veterinary care and I accept responsibility for any and all associated expenses. Adventure Dog Co (aka Toller Tours), will not pay any portion of veterinary expenses, transportation or emergency expenses associated with seeking or administering medical care for my dog if so necessary. Toller Tours will make every reasonable effort to have available basic first aid items available for my dog while on adventures.
I affirm that I am not aware of any vicious tendencies of my dog.
I affirm that my dog is trained and in fit enough condition to complete the required activities. In addition, my dog is vaccinated to fully meet all California state requirements including, but not limited to rabies. I further affirm that my dog is trained and fully controlled by me or my family and has successfully completed and graduated with a certificate of completion from an obedience class, and we abide by all local, state, and/or federal requirements for waste management and leash laws.
I agree to provide proof of vaccines, specifically Rabies, prior to attending the event.
I hereby certify that my dog has received a full vet exam prior to participation in events and is deemed healthy enough for participation in any and all activities hosted, led, or guided by Adventure Dog Co. Such evaluation may assess my dog’s overall health, and all vaccines are up to date.
In addition, I assume all responsibility that my dog is not dog aggressive and will not cause damage or harm to any other dog, Adventure Dog Co. staff, or strangers, while participating in a Adventure Dog Co. activity.
